STORY
At the request of her government, the Countess Sonia Varnli, disguised as a maid, goes to America to prevent inventor Guy Longstreet from selling his new x-ray gun to the enemy, represented in negotiations by the Baron Rogniat. Guy seems willing to sell the gun to him, but fearing that Guy might decide to sell it to other countries, the baron plots to kill him. When Sonia finds out about the murder plan, she warns Guy, and together they capture the baron. Guy then asks Sonia to marry him, and she consents on the condition that he destroy the plans for the weapon. When Guy agrees, Sonia reveals that she is really a countess, and they begin making plans for a royal wedding.
